Default Hunter shot in Scappoose unit.

This is second hand info, so if somebody has better info, throw it out. A timberland security officer reported to me that a guy was shot yesterday over in the Willark/Trentholm (sp) area. Three guys hunting together and one of them takes a brush shot, ended up being his partner. The weapon was a 12 gauge, using a slug. Apparently the slug hit the guy in the hand and the hip. Sounds like he survived.

Sure nuff, just on the 10:00 news. I hope he's alright and we don't hear about any more dead eagles or shot hunters this year! Does Oregon have mandatory hunter's ed now? Darwin Award candidates?
