Default Sheetrock

I'm thinking of sheetrocking the shop. I am wondering what a ceiling would cost that is 36x30'
I will have to do it in phasis as the shop is full and I can only do the ceiling first.
I think I want it taped and then I will just paint it with a smooth finish??? as I need it to be bright with these old eyes.
What do you all suggest???
I'm in Battle Ground

Not sure what your ceiling height is, but the going rate for a good job by a licensed contractor is around $1.00 per square foot of board. Based on the measurement of 30 X 36 your ceiling would have about 1080 square ft., so you should expect to send about $1080 from a licensed bonded contractor...... If you go with someone who is doing it as a side job, you should save $$$$

For a quick hang and fire tape on the ceiling only a good deal for you would be around $700.00 materials and labor......

Just offering this for general pricing info......

The ceiling height is 12' I already have the lights hung but they won't be much to take down. As far as the room goes it is full like normal and I can clear the room for the first phase "ceiling"
The walls would have to come later as this is where the work would be for clearing the way for the job.
