How cool is this?

My wife works in the library at Oregon Graduate Institute and since it's the computer age they had no need for their old card catalogs. So now I have 30 drawers for storage of my fishing stuff. The drawers are about 18" long and great for fly tying material, spools of line,spools of lead,bobbers for jig fishing,reels and reel repair parts.

A dozen years ago I picked up a surplus oak card file from the Multnomah County Library. 60 drawers of fly tying material with pull out work surfaces half way up ... it's great for everything except my stash of Hoffmann necks, which are too wide for the drawers. Of course, with so much storage I've collected some things I wouldn't have without all this space: 20 colors of camel fur, ostrich hurl, a couple woodcock skins, a nutria skin, dozens of dental tools ... but it sure is a great piece of furniture!
