bear down
i got the call...bear down. My buddy Joe got a pass through on a double lung shot earlier this evening. This is his first bear with a bow. Wish i could have been there for the kill, but am always happy to pack!

Re: bear down
He set up in a meadow where he has been seeing alot of bears, just no shots yet. Joe said he was only sitting for about 15 minutes, had just finished rangefinding the edge, which was 69 yards. He was thinking that his set up may not work out because of the distance when this 2-3 year old sow came out of the brush. She fed her way right towards him and Joe hit his mark at 40 yards as she was quartered towards him. He was pretty stoked!!
