Default Honor?

Well went out on the rogue monday with a friend of mine who is a guide here, what we saw was really sicking, tons of boats going through the hole snagging chinook, maybe they werent doing it on pupose, but when you bring a fish in butt first and then keep it, well to me there is something wrong with that picture..alot of silvers were being caught and kept, most of the guides pulled out and went down to the bridge and a few stayed behind..There wasnt much of a bite but I did manage to hook onto a big ol chinook and then managed to lose it too, but we did catch and release a beautiful 10+ steelhead and a couple silvers , nice big ones, released them too,if this was any indication on the silver run it's going to be great sept 1 when the season opens.

Sounds like the fishing is good! I cant wait to try my luck. I fished the Klamath on Sunday and caught a couple of half-pouders and 3 steelies.

As for the snaggers, don't they fight better when you hook them in the tail? No excuse for keeping a fish like that.

No excuses (for snagging, especially keeping)....They have #'s on their boats right. There is an 800# on your license. As someone who wants to continue enjoying the sport, a quick phone call is needed. The OSP
might not get there even today, but eventually the snaggers will have company that might look like an everyday fisherperson.
