Default Tuna report!

Went out on Monday out of Newport, 60 miles due west, 61 degrees, and 87 torpedos later. The big blue was pretty rough the first 40 miles or so but flatten out with 3' swells and sunshining. Saw some whales out there playing leap frog or is that whales. They were good size 10-15 pounders, with a few over 20.

The 87 torpedo's has got my attention. Now that's my kind of fun. Was this a charter trip? And if so, how long was the trip and cost involved.

I'll bet you had a blast, just wish I was along. Let's hope they get closer than 60 miles.

What charter outfit ? I've often thought it
would be a good trip. Do they fish rod and reel or is it handlining? Cost?

Seagull Charters Newport, and you can have your choice of Handlines or poles.
