Skunked 2..the saga continues...
Oh well...another day passes with no action on my fish bonker. Pete...I guess you're not the jinx...unless it's lingering. On the brighter side...we DID see one fish caught today, and it wasn't in my boat. It was kinda in the distance, but looked like a pretty good one. Will be "Fishing in the Rain"...tomorrow. I just know they're coming.

Re: Skunked 2..the saga continues...
The good news is guys that a fresh batch of up river brights have moved into the Astoria area in the last few days.............The bad news is the nets are going to get them before you do

Re: Skunked 2..the saga continues...
I think you're in the wrong place FM. Hate to kick you when you're down but Cody and I have been fishing our haunts and doing quite well. Past three days have been some of the best all year.
Monday - 1 hatchery steelie
Tuesday - 1 hatchery steelie
1 30 lb upriver bright
Wednesday - 9 steelies hooked, 7 landed for a boat limit of 4 hatchery fish! This report is just off the river. I had to work today and got the message when I got home. You can guess where I'll be tonight. Give me or him a buzz and we'll see if we can't help. Good luck.

Re: Skunked 2..the saga continues...
Not your spinner, but one of Cody's personal ones. He's tying them up and selling them now. They do look suspiciously similar to some I saw this spring. Just a few minor tweaks. The chinook was on a gold clancy for the record.

The tide runs from about 11 am to almost 7 pm ... he'll be on the river for a while. Don't wait up, Ma.
