Re: I was a country music guy.....
Dude, check out Disturbed and AC/DC (thunderstruck especially) if you want some topwater plug tunes.
You want country topwater plugs? = then may I suggest David Allen Coe's greatest hits or Hank Williams Jr. (any CD with All My Rowdy Friends have settled down, A Country Boy Can Survive, and Family Tradition). That's right, I forget that you're knew to all this, so take it from me, that's the music you need for the bass.
Don't even play none of that new age, fluffy, lovey country music, or should I say scrapped "pop" songs.

Re: I was a country music guy.....
country music is contrived, overproduced artificial stuff, kinda like a janet jackson video. now, old classic country can be cool to laugh with...er at, but hey, genious is pain. not sure about you, but as a drummer myself, want to listen to the police and blondie, yes blondie, for great rock drumming. not the muddy bottom boys or whatever....... alumawelds rock! tryin2fish is taking steriods, lifting weights and drinking beer. he is starting to scare me now. he keeps wanting to nail something to his hull........
