Default Hey DK, how was Alsea Bay?

Just got back from a family crabbing trip at Alsea Bay, and saw lots a fishermen at the mouth. Were you out there in the bunch? Talked to a few, and the fishing wasn't too bad, considering it's a bit early yet.
Crabbing was hot, but there was a ton of pots in the bay, and it seemed to clean out most of the keepers by noon.

So what boat were you in? I asked several boats, are you Doug? Or, are you DK from Ifish? but gave up. I saw some drift boats crossing the bar.
I was in the 17' silver Fish Rite. My family just wanted to crab, so I only got to fish the outgoing on Sat evening. Had one good sized one on, but negociating the breakers in the wind and trying to land a fish is next to impossible by yourself.
