Default Or. tuna feeds homeless in Id.

My wife came home yesterday from work and told me about two families living in tents on the National forest near our home town of Pocatello Id.
The families together have 15 children.

The story is that one family is of a commumity businessman who lost everything .
He had been a successful businessman and was a community leader donating time to good causes ,, helping youth ,, and investing in the community ....

I knew I had canned 46 tuna for a reason..
This morning we sent a bunch of tuna and extra clothing to the camp site....

My wife delivered the goodies....

Have a good dyay you all,, its cold here and 15 little children .....needed help ,,,,

You're the man Chris!

Let us know if they need some more and we can put a package together on our end. Both food and clothing.

Chris, you are a very giving individual. You have such enthusiasm and zest for life no doubt because of your medical issues and success in overcoming such adversity. I am proud to know you.

I saw that story on the news this morning. That's a bad deal... The small kids were sure bundled up in their winter coats. I also saw the plastic tarps over the small camping tents trying to keep the rain/sleet out. It was good to hear someone donated temporary housing for them. You live in a community that still cares....

A forest service employee called the local news and informed them of the situation.

It was not long (like 24 hrs)after the story broke and someone had donated a trailer home and others were giving them food and clothing .

I do live where people still care ,,,,

Parents might be dough heads (?),,,,, but the little kids,, its not right for them to suffer like that ....
