Idaho Deer/Elk Hunt
Went to Central Idaho for the annual deer/elk hunt. It was a very memorable week. Lots of quality animals and lots of trips up and down the mountain packing all the meat out! Elk sure are heavy
Here are the bucks that were taken.

Re: Idaho Deer/Elk Hunt
Heck of a bunch of bucks - thanks for the picture. Was this a good year for you guys or do you always do that well in Idaho?? And elk on top of it, how nice would that be!

We normally fill our tags but not quite with the quality of those bucks.
The area has been very good to us. We definitely have to work our butts off but that's half the fun right?

Re: Idaho Deer/Elk Hunt
Nice!! Love that kind of country - makes the work so much more fun, plus knowing you have bucks/bulls around like that must make it a lot easier to get up them hills.

Very cool and that must have been a meat wagon coming home. Man you guys will be eating good this winter congrads... are you guys hunting elk and deer in the same drainages or do you have to move around for one or the other. In any case nice job.

They are pretty much the same. Some areas are better for deer or elk than others obviously.
