My wife and I took our boys out to fill our doe tags on Saturday. It was awesome. They used my wife's 6mm and both had one shot kills. My older boy shot his doe at 150 yards and the younger one's doe was at 75 yards.
A good experience for both of them and a good time had by mom and I.

Tell the boys that is awesome. Great job! My oldest boy is 2 1/2 and we have another one on the way in February. It won't be long for my oldest, and My daughter is 5 and she is even talking about it. I can't wait. Thank you for being a dad that is getting his kids involved early!
I can't wait for next year. My son is 10 and has been in the field everyday with me so far this season. He's only 10 and so far has been a pretty good shot with his BL22. Started him shooting his ole' Red Ryder when he was 8, between now and next fall I want to step him up to a .243 or 25.06. I hope I have a similar story to share next year.

I don't know about you, but I get more satisfaction from the success of my kids then I have ever had about my own hunts.
