Default How long will ocean hold up?

Fished the ocean Sunday from Buoy 2 to past CR buoy. Crossed the bar out of Hammond about 7:30 AM. Fishing was much slower than when we went out the previous Sunday, but the 3 of us did limit on nice fin-clipped Coho by 3:15 PM (caught and released 5 natives). Saw a lot of boats having same slower action. A great day, and no complaints, but did slower action result from wrong location or does ocean taper off as fish move into Columbia?
