I *think* salmon poisoning is specific to the west coast states (Ca, OR, Wa). If this was in Alaska, I don't think they have salmon poisoning.

Saw a show on this once, all they eat is the brains. They showed 20 lb salmon laying in the woods with the top of there heads chewed off. pretty interesting though
