Another good opening weekend is in the books. Good friends, good places, crappy weather, but the ducks cooperated nonetheless.
There is something special about the sunrise on opening day:
We had a little trouble getting the boat through a shallow spot before low tide hit, but left the boat stranded on a sandbar, ate an early lunch, and went back to hunting. No worse for the wear; I've had a rodeo at that spot before. It just gives us something to talk about.
