Default automatic pluckers?

has anyone ever used one of them electric duck pluckers like they sell in cabelas? if so how do they work and are they worth spending the money on?


I was thinking about buying one but didnt want to waste the money if they dont work for squat. any with any experience using them that can steer me one way or another the insite would be appreciated

Had one of those "pluckers" that you put onto a 3/8" drill then fasten to a table. Worked OK but you learn quick that you need to keep the wind to your back! Funny stuff! Whoever the "lucky plucker" is that gets that job only wants to do it once! He'd rather "gut" the next day! Also helps to buy the more expensive model with a shroud so the faethers have somewhere to go. It did pluck the bird pretty well. Don't hold it in one spot too long! Mine "lives" in South Dakota and gets use all season long by locals there. They get a kick out of it! The rubber fingers do need to be replaced once
in awhile.
