Also had a little passenger, that my son thought was really cool:

Too darn hot to be hunting, so mostly we pretended. The old ranch is managed a bit differently than we used to do it...saw 4 coyotes on Friday and 3 on Saturday. Best I could do was wound one from a very long distance.

Killed an awful lot of water bottles with his .22, and had an all around good time.

I miss the South Coast; to bad there's hardly anything to do for a living down there.

Good Post! I know some of my best memories are of my dad and I out doing this that and the other. Just what the activity was didn't really matter.

WOW!!! Too bad not all west side hunting looks like that. That is amazing. I hope one of my three daughters will want to take it up. So far no luck with the 16 year old. Nice job.

Is that near Langlois? Good looking country - you don't see a lot of open fields on the coast range, but that is one place that you do.
