Default Blown hose at sea on my Northriver...

I blew a hose while off Astoria the other day on my Northriver ...It was a clear one that drains the manifold and , lucky for us , was split near the clamp so we could cut off the bad spot and reconnect it . My point ? Check your hoses , belts , etc , twice before hitting the water. Spent the day changing them all out including heater hose instead of the clear type on the manifold drains . A mechanic friend suggests pulling those once a year to clean out any sand ,etc. Chnanged the oil and filter and gas filter while I was at it ..Did I forget anything ?? Trying to avoid needing the Coast Guard !!
