Default Netarts Bay Crab?

I have never crabbed at Netarts Bay and I am wondering if anyone would be kind enough to give me a recent report?

I know there are some crabs available in T-Bay, but I would really like to try Netarts. Any report would be greatly appreciated!

36 (3 limits) for 3 guys with 6 pots in about 4 hours on Sunday. Lower in the bay was better than higher up. Good Luck.

Was there on sunday. We got about 80 crabs of which 2 were keepers Everyone I talked to in the parking lot said it was slow. One guy was there the day before and said he got his limit.

I think it has slowed down for the year. It should get good again come September. I may still make one more trip over there but I'm about ready to wind it down till next fall.

Good luck if you go.

I was there on saturday and we only go one legal dungeness and two rock crab. We had 5 pots out and bait boxes stuffed with steelhead carcases. It sure was slow. There were really big tide swings that weekend so that may have made a difference.

Netarts Bay - from about 10 am till 2 pm on the incoming tide. Used salmon carcass and smelt for bait.
