Major Tom is Ground Control

This morning we went pheasant hunting at EE Wilson. I hear from my hunting partner "birds running heading your direction!!!!!" "the dogs are after the bird!!!" "Good Boy Major!!!!"
Major Tom is my yellow lab, he's wired and is always at full throttle. His mother is a kangaroo and his father is the everyready bunny. Major gets on this bird, it wont flush but it thinks it can out run Major. Major retrieves this bird without a shot being fired. We had missed a shot earlier so I guess Major just had to show us how it's done. Good Boy Major

Nothing like a bagging birds without having to shoot them. My dog does that once in a while as well. I LOVE to watch her when she is on the birds.
