Default Wilson report, today

What a BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!

No doubt, the steelhead weren't biting for us like we thought they would, but we still had a great day on the river!!

How many times have you been able to plug through Duycks all by yourself?

Not many on the river, in other words!

I was all worried about ifish, because most of the mods are out fishing today, but when I finally told Bill, "I'm not going to worry about it. It's too beautiful out, to not enjoy this.." My bobber went down! Right then!!

Nice hatchery "overnight wonder" hen.

I'm getting lazy about taking pictures. It takes time you know, and I just want to get back to fishing!!!

Anyhow, what a great day on the river. Springers are great, but what a way to relax!

I caught mine on a plain First Cast Jig, pink and white, with no sand shrimp at all.

We had a couple other pulls on plugs, but nothing stuck.

OK, I'm ready for Springers, now!!!

Others probably did better than we did.
We were just too busy enjoying the sights, the smells, the spring like weather!
It really was a wonderful change from what we have been having!

MikeT and I fished here today. We caught no fish but we were a little early for this run. It was just a gorgeous day at the coast. Can you say Steelhead green.
