Default Roo's miracle--

This is just so amazing. I keep pinching myself.

Roo can't see for another 6 weeks, but... here's the latest!

I'm really grateful and excited and .... in total wonder!

Plus... I have three goldfinch out my window! In the Fall!!!!

Anyhow, Dr. Whang ... remember, two days ago, Dr. Michelle couldn't get Roo's left eye to work very well.... so, Dr. Whang, today, held a lens up to &Roo's eye and said, "OK, see how far you can read." They started with the big E. He spit it out and I was in total wonder. He couldn't do that, two days ago!

Long story short, he read clear through to the 20/30 line! Can you even believe that? Dr. Whang said, "Oh, Andrew! I was so worried! You have made my day! I am so happy!"

Well, yeah! US TOO!

So, then we started talking about that Andrew is using both eyes together. That's something we didn't know if he could do or not. If they take out his right lens, then he could see 20/30 in both eyes!!!!

Dr. Witherspoon, Dr. Whang's assistant said that this is pretty much max on how long an eye surgery takes... (Roo's surgery) and that this is why he is still in so much pain.

Anyhow, I am so excited... It's just TOO WEIRD, you guys!

I'm still swallowing all of this!

This is a miracle, I think!

It's been an awesome day! God is good!

You know, I can't believe how good it's been. I got to see my son, David at PSU and get a big hug....

Driving went well... I couldn't figure out why, but then I went out to the river when I got home, and ... oddly enough, I could see really well. Everything was crisp and clean and... I closed my good eye, and WOW! I could see out of my last surgery eye! Like WOW!

All on one day! It's really awesome! I still can't read with it, but far away, things look great! I squinted and it was even better. That's good, cuz the doc said that when that happens, he'll fit me with contacts or glasses! I wonder what THAT will be like!?!

I'm excited. Tired... oh so tired, but happy.

I'm going to sleep with a smile on my face! Which brings up another subject... last night I was sleeping out on the loft, and Andrew kept waking me up. He sleeps downstairs in a bedroom and he kept laughing in his sleep!!!! It was hilarious! Like every hour, he'd just guffaw! I went down once, wondering if he had company, but he was just sound, sound asleep! LAUGHING!

Night, y'all.

You know, Mary Ellen, John boy... alla u!)

Thank you SO much for your prayers. I feel so blessed.

Jen
