Default Intro- Trophy Seekers Open

Sorry, I have only posted a couple times before and was unsure of protocol. Also, the site would not let me post a reply on my origainal post???
I grew up fishing in SoCal. As a kid my parents would drop me off at a landing and I would go off on the cattle boats by myself. We never went anywhere with out my pole. Around high school I started fishing the overnight boats out of San Diego and that's when I caught my first tuna and yellowtail. Since then (now 40) I have moved up here (8 years ago) and only get down to fish once a year. That's why I have started fishing on long range trips. My first one was a 5 day two years ago and after catching yellowfin at Guadalupe island I was hooked.
I have had limited success fishing up here and it's not my favorite style of fishing. Don't get me wrong it's still FISHING, it's just my fishing buddies are all down south and with young kids I have not had much time to make any up here. Had a great time catching smallmouth with my kids this summer at Prineville thanks to reading posts on this site.
