Default Buoy 10 Boating DONT's

This weekend reaffirms one of the worst problems facing the buoy 10 season. The practice of power boating on plane close to other boats needs to stop.

I repeat....DO NOT POWER ON PLANE NEAR OTHER BOATS!!

I know fishing is best when trolling with the tide, used to be the population was a litle more split about this. Now though, most everyone trolls with the tide. When a boat finishes there troll, the pick up and motor back to start again. Except many boaters weave in and out of boats trolling like they are running an obstacle course. They power to close! Then it's like monkey see monkey do. Others follow. I hate this practice and most of the time, there is no reason for this. With most people trolling the same general depth line, there is plenty of room to travel further outside and away from others trolling.

I understand fishing near buoy 10 is more difficult. There are so many boats that there actually isn't an outside line to motor around. Just use your best judgement and try and give people space, espcially the small boats.

Now, when you have an option, travel outside and give people the room to troll waters less traveled. Let's be a little more understanding of our fellow fisherman,

thanks,

Gregg

Gregg,

You need to borrow a rapid fire paint ball machine gun to slow them down.
