Re: JENNIE SUCCEEDS - THE SKUNK IS GONE!
Now THAT was fishing!
Wow!
What a great day!
We came home with a 30 lb bright nook, a 12 lb chinook, and a 12 pound silver, before we had to go.
We started lazy, I had to go over to Chinook and take some digital pics of Tuttles Bait and Tackle, so we just put in at Chinook at around 9:30... Went out, forgot the coffee, came back, got the coffee, went out, hit the church hole next to Captain J at about 10ish.
Within 10 minutes we had a double. My reel screamed, the fish jumped about 3 feet from the up stream boat above us and came off. Bill landed his 30 pounder.
From then until 11:30 or so it was non stop action. Wild fish, coho, chinook, whoooooo hooooo! I couldn't even take a sip of coffee!
Best of all, I successfully netted Bill's fish! This is a good thing, cuz last year I knocked one off and I have been paranoid ever since. I think I have my confidence back after today. Whewie! I actually felt better about netting today than I did catching! And I felt REALLY good about catching! Imagine that!
So, yes, it was a good day. For a while there, I saw many nets in the air.
It kind of died around 12, or slowed down anyway, and we left.
Going tomorrow.... and the next day, and the next day, and.....
FISH ON!
J
