Default Fishing report - Buoy 2

I hit the ocean first time this year for silvers. Went out of Hammond at daybreak. headed out over a smooth bar other than all the other boat chop. Lines in the water at 6:30 and limited by 8:30. We lost about twice as many as we boated. Had a blast. Salmon steaks for dinner and the rest on the smoker as I am typing.

Fog was set in all morning. No problem for the GPS, talked to a few guys without GPS waiting at the docks at 10:00 for the fog to clear still.

Now back up river this week for an overnighter for chinook and steelhead.

Yeehaw.

It is good to hear it is still awesome out there. I agree the $149 that I paid for my garmin etrex (now they are $119) was the most usefull thing that I have bought in many many years. I would strongly recommend to anyone going on the water to get one as they are invaluable in what we are doing. No more fear from the fog.
