Default Removing the Manzanita racing stripes?

Anybody have any good automotive detail shops in town that they go to after the hunting season to get the brush stripes out of your truck? I figured i could wax and buff it myself to remove most of them but dont really have the time. Any info would be great.

Those are scratches of valor. If they are like the ones I have, some of those things go right down to the primer. If you buff them enough to get the scratches out, you're probably going to cut all the way through the clear coat and your paint is going to oxidize more quickly.

For me, it's easier to say "I WENT HUNTING!"

'Sending you a PM re a local guy - - retired body shop owner - - 'haven't used him personally but am aware of at least one person who was very pleased with his work. It's been a few years so don't be surprised if he's retired again - - 'worth a call. Don

I'm not sure I'd worry about it til spring. Sling a little mud on it and forget about it.
Soon it will look like mine and blend right into the terrain.

I wouldn't worry about it. After a couple years they should all blend in.
