Default newbie fishman help

Thanks for the last info you all gave me on the trout. i actually cought one! Now im wondering when the salmon will be comming down the clackamas? also what do you use to catch them big guys? thanks for the help!

Watch for the Coho in the Clack somewhere around Labor Day weekend. Maybe sooner this year.

FishinMission is right. Season opens up on Sept. 1st. There will be fish at the mouth by that point. Most people do well there drifting eggs, yarn and such. Spinners (red) often work well too. Mid-Sept should see a big push of the fish up the middle river. From Oct - Nov the place to be will be Eagle Creek. Best of luck to you.
