Thats a haugy smallmouth. You can tell the 5+ pounders by how thick the tail is!

Nice going

Great fish. With a name like FishNChip, I hope it didn't end up in the fry daddy.

NO WAY, we will do anything to keep our fish alive. When you spend as much time (& Money) as we do trying to figure these fish out it seems you get a great respect for them.
My dad's nickname is Chip, thats way the name fishnchip! I just use his ifish user name. I'm fishngrish on the other board.

Money? Bass fishing doesn't cost that much.

Keep quiet about the $$$ thing. My wife will occasionally look at this site.

Would love to see picture of your 5lbs plus fish. Where do I find it? I've been spending more time chasing Bass the last 3yr, less time casting for STS. There fun to fish for and try to figure out.

Here's the picture of the 5.8lbs, we caught it around Stevenson, on a Outlaw tube, 8lb p-line. it put up a great fight, jumped out of the water one time then dove to the bottom. Took a while to get her in. It is definitly one of my favorite memories.
