Hey Fishbait,
I thought you were strictly a Chinook fisherman ? Even though you avoid Silvers like the plague it can't overcome the need for $50,000 with a shot of Jack? P.S. I think I will also have the Sportfishin' Simulator at the reception as well. Sick'em Buddy !!$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Tight Lines,

With the 2001 Buoy 10 and ocean Coho fishing lit up like a fire cracker,
anglers have a lot to celebrate. Limits of Coho and Chinook off the mouth of
the Columbia are already the norm. In order to generate even more excitement
and participation for this world class fishery, Jack Daniel's Tennessee
Whiskey is sponsoring a $50,000 tagged coho salmon derby.

Beginning Saturday, August 18th anglers who have pre-purchased a $10.00 derby
entry ticket will be able to fish for 10 coho salmon tagged in cooperation
with the Oregon Department and Fish and Wildlife. In addition to tagged fish,
prizes for the three largest fish weighed in will be awarded, as well. The
Derby runs from August 17 through August 24. Winners will be announced on
August 24th @ 4:00 PM at the Astoria, Red Lion Hotel.

"Knowing that there is a $50,000 coho out there, anglers won't want to be
caught without a derby ticket" said Eric Linde, renowned fishing guide and
Jack Daniel's tournament official. "Besides the chance of winning the
jackpot, your ticket money goes to increasing sportfishing in our region.
It's a real winner all around for anglers" Linde continued.

The proceeds of the ticket sales will be donated to the Northwest
Sportfishing Industry Association, an organization of businesses, sporting
clubs and individuals dedicated to future of sportfishing opportunity in the
northwest.
