Nookie help...Aug 24

I have a friend coming over from Idaho and he wants to go fishing. Where can we get into kings that early?? All I have is a drift boat, so the Columbia is out. Lower Nestucca Maybe?? I also heard the Salmon River near Lincoln city gets fish early??

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There will just be the two of us, so if you know where to go and want to go with us that would be even better.

LH.....if you got a kicker..I wouldn't rule out the Columbia. If not....I don't know what to tell you. Perhaps the Nehalem if there's enough water. Also...if interested..you might be able to hit the Columbia with me and the Mrs. I'm on vacation that week...am booked, but those that booked me may not be coming. E-Mail me if you'd like....in a day or two...I might have an opportunity for you and your friend, when I find out for sure if the relatives are coming or not.
