Default Buoy 2 prevails again

Hey Y'all

Well, we fished buoy 2 today. Got a late start at 10:30, but we were truimphant nonetheless. What a beautiful day. Sunny and nice outside the bar. We ingored the Small craft advisory that was posted today - and good thing we did. We started out the day with a BIG King. 26lbs. he was. quite a beautiful specimen. He gladly got in the box after a little coersion from the whacker. We had been fishing about 5 minutes when the 'ol rod went down and several minutes, and a great fight later, I boated the beast. What a great start to the day. We proceeded to boat numerous Silvers, quite a few had too many fins hat we promptly returned to the BIG BLUE. However, Pilar, Taisto and I had a great day, and we did limit the boat in a timely manner. The take today was 2 Kings, and 4 NICE Silvers. Sea Swan was out there in the midst with us, she limited shortly after we got there and they gave us their remaining bait. Thanks to all aboard.. Cap'n Dan, Mr. Fisherman and crew..

We got checked by the man at the dock, and he stated that there had been no citations for the day.....BRAVO to all involved today!
A great day and good company....

Hey Krystal Flash,

Nice Feesh. Looked like it took a lil' effort to hold it up and show it off.

With all the action we thought we were gonna run out of bait . Plenty of feesh to be had but it was 3 or 4 to one nates.

Lots of fun! Saw the biggest Silver of all time come to the boat yesterday. Too bad it had too many fins . It was over 18#.

What's up with the weather forecast They haven't gotten one right in over a week! I feel for the vessles that rely on those reports. We have decided whether it's forecast to be bad or good we are gonna go take a look and decide. Saved us two trips already with our halibut trip being the first Halibut trip post and yesterdays Silver fest being the second.

We saw an NOAA Vessle out there. Maybe they are working on the problem.

Has anyone out there heard anything. I don't have a warm fuzzy with forecasts being this far off from a source we are supposed to depend on.

Maybe this deserves it's own thread.

Anyway, it was a great day on the ocean.

Later,

Mr. F. out....
