finally some nookie
Finally got that first elusive chinook. My friend and I were out by buoy 2 today, in the water for 5 minutes and he nails a coho. Then about 20 minutes later he is fishing at 27 pulls and we boat a 20-25 lb chinook buck. Of course by this time I had nothing. Then I get a large coho and go to 27 pulls and land a 12 lb chinook. Awesome day on the water as the bar calmed down at slack tide in the morning and the ocean had slow and lazy swells.
