Default Mouth of the Cowlitz?

I was just wondering if anyone had a report for the mouth of the Cowlitz. I heard a rumor that things were starting to pick up and was just trying to confirm the rumor. Thanks in advance for the replies.

I've heard the past couple of days were slow, and the water temps. were high. I'll try and find out something for you tomorrow on this.

So did anyone fish the mouth this weekend and how did you do? I took my kid up to Humpy Hollow this weekend up in Everet, WA. He sure did have a good time catching fish. They were everywhere and pretty good fighters on lite tackle.

Fished the mouth yesterday from about 3 pm to 7 pm. Outgoing tide until about 5:30. Could only keep track of 20 to 25 boats fairly close to us. We saw 3 fish hooked and only 1 landed. It was a nice chinook but looked pretty slow to me. Talked to a couple other boats at the ramp and they about the same report. The local paper has said how great the fishing has been but I sure haven't seen it. Guess I'll just have to keep trying.
