Default mailing elk steaks

A friend asked/begged me to give them some elk steaks. Problem is they live in Southern California. I'm thinking I could send them frozen express mail or overnight Fed Ex. Has anyone ever done that? Recommendations on how to send, packaging, etc. would be appreciated. THANKS

when packing and sending elk or deer i use a a fam box with dry ice and then wrap in brown paper then box in a reg box. Works. Over night is the surest way to get there so they dont go bad.. Good luck
