Default Blue gill tech talk

Her are just a few things that will help you out when you are seeking trophy bluegills.
1. We have found that about 1" of night crawler threaded in line over the hook works fantastic and you may get as many as 5 fish per bait.
2. Work on your side arm hookset and the back hand hookset as well , much more effective then straight up and over.
3.Make sure you have all proper tackle in boat, including Vicodin before leaving.
4. We have found that fishing was much better while drinking domestic beers rather than the imports or micro's
5. Please catch and release all wild bluegill, we want the resource her for the next generation.
Peace Superfly

Sorry Tanner, but I have you trumped:

Picture a 16' cane pole, size 8 hook, and a coffee can of wigglers.

Wigglers - aka nightcrawlers, not to be confused with B movie zombies.

But Redneck,
I actually like to feel the fish on the end of my rod.

Actually, I have a 14' cane pole that my Brother gave me that I have been wanting to try. Might have to try it on Saturday just for kicks. The fish wouldn't be counted in the tournament of course.
