Default Tag Deadlines
Is it too late to purchase a rifle elk tag for willamette valley? What about the coast?? I'm thinking about hunting this year. Thanks for your help.

The last day to buy tags is the day before the season starts. For Western Deer rifle, it's today, as is Cougar and Bear. Cascade Elk's last day is the 19th. For Coast elk it will depend on which season you are going for.

ODFW News release reports you can get a cougar tag through OCT 1.

They extended the Westside General Deer tag deadline to Oct. 1st. BH
