Default Columbia (above 205 bridge) report

Fished for about four hours this morning. Results: Dot(FishRUs)one, me NOTHING again Actually, we saw only one other steelhead caught so Dot was very skilled, yes?
Her steelhead was a Deschutes river fish and weighed 12lbs. Had a tag in the snout(invisible)but the fish checker was too lazy to get out of his truck, even though we told him we had one
We also met Ifish member, Wobble wacker, I think thats what his moniker was...and he was very nice and we had a long chat!
Now to post this pic of such a beautiful fish!
Take care all,
The Girls

I enjoyed the camaraderie. I sure thought anyone launching from Chinook this AM would land Steelies with the continued high dam counts. Looking forward to future exchanges and pictures with fish.

What was with the fishing today???? My buddy spent all morning anchored up in his usual spot and only saw 3 fish caught all day. I was out there from 4:30 till dark and the boat next to us released one wild fish. That was it!! What happened?? Water was really ripping this afternoon. Great weather but a little windy. Lots of people out there. 10 in our hogline most of the day. Hope this was just a fluke.

I heard the nets were out earlier this week and again tonight after 6 pm. This does tend to slow down the action for those of us with a single line in the water. I called off my fishing trip this week and will try this weekend or this next week.

Good luck out there
