Default Cedar Creek Grist Mill - Bread and Butter!

This Saturday the 29th from 1 to 4 PM.

Dutch over bread making and butter churning.

I hope to be there if I can get off work early enough.

You've never had Dutch over bread?

A few years back a cousin of mine and myself were on our way back home from fishing and drove by the mill as they were having their annual apple cider making event and alot of people were there. We looked at each other and chuckled, for when we were kids, making apple cider was a necessity every fall. (Im not that old but it was a tradition). I think some of my brothers still make their own cider which is very good. I just don't have the time like I should to make it. If you haven't tried it, take your kids and get some cider.

We did go and had a nice time. My wife was unexpectedly interested in the process and the tour. 'Brought home some stone-milled corn meal and flour - - 'baking some home-made bread right now. Don
