Default Jig Tying Materials

I bought the medium set of hooks and things on first bite jigs. My brother used to tie flies so I have the hardware just wondering where to get marabou and flashabou. Can I go to a local fly shop for these materials I would rather shop at a local store than online. Because I would rather be able to see the quality of the feathers and things. Is their anything special that most people forget that I should know how to buy or any local shops in clatsop county that I can buy the materials from?

I don't know of any place around these parts that you'd find that sort of thing, but I would highly recommend going back to Mark at First Bite and buy the materials from him. He uses the best quality stuff, and would be happy to help you select the right materials for what you need.

Marks supplies are excellent quality..his name and reputation is on the products afterall, and you will obviously be happy with the quality and pricing.

also...any fly shop will have what your looking for as well, but gets hit by the masses and shelf stock may already picked through, maybe not.

Kauffmans Stremborn in Tigard has every color you could ever need. They have a fly shop like I have seen no where else.
