Hey dad I made it to Cairns today 08/08/01.
Grandma and I got in at about 12:00 pm and we are all checked in at our hotel we are 17 hours a head of you guys and crystal has my phone number our room # is 530 so call in the evening if you want or we wont be home ok

If you get up Cooktown way, give the docks (Aussies call them jetties) a try down around the Sea Breeze Motel. Caught a 10 lb Barramundi off one of them on a Fin S Fish. Those suckers are one fun fish. They seem to like soft plastics, stick baits, and frog immitations as well. [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

Thanks for the info today(friday) I am going scuba diving out on the great barrier reef. I hate this time differance I cant ever seem to sleepin it is only about 5:30 am here so its not bad. Well i have to go so I will talk to you fisherman and women later.

My dad was kind enough to lend me a camera and two different lense's and trust me one of them is a nice zoom one [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] and right now I am not close to the fancy beaches that everyone goes so I guess I will have to wait till I head back towards sidney. tomorrow I am heading out for a marlin trip on the reef and then another trip on sunday life is really ruff down here I dont know if I can take much more. well it is time to go get some thing to drink and eat
