Thought this might cheer up a few of you fellas who didnt get nuttin.......
So I hunt the first week in the chesnimnus unit, could`a plinked at least one cow every day while up there, lotsa cows seen,(80 at least), so I pack up and think, okay, the last week will be golden for me. so I wait for the weeks to pass till I get my next vacation days at the end of the season.........
so heres where the story gets good........
I planned on heading out after my pee wee football game a week ago last Saturday (we lost in triple kansas plan OT) anyway while walking off the field I`m thinking,"man I aint feeling so great", so I thought I would lay down for a little nap before I head for the hills. By 10:00 that night I was at 101 degrees and thinking I was gonna die. I dont remember Sunday, and monday was a blurr. When Tues. rolled around the sickness was subsiding but It felt like there was a truck parked on my stomach. I deal with the pain till Thurs. when it gets too bad and I report to the local E.R.
After an ultrasound, hida- scan, and a cat scan, and 2 days later here at the local hospitol, the decision was made to ship me to Good Samaritan in Portland. At first all indicators pointed at Gall stones, so the Dr. performed an MRCP, nothing was found , now an MRI,still feeling like the truck was still parked on ma belly and my liver was still way inflamed.about 12 bags of anti-biotics later, I layed in the bed until this morning waiting for my liver function to get back to a reasonable level. So hears the scoop, 11 days without food, the feeling of possibly meeting god, about 30 holes poked in my arms, and they could not find the reason for my sickness, I`m still a week out from returning to work. But there is a bright spot to this story, My son has a week long ochoco cow hunt the 2nd week of Oct.
