Default Buoy 10 Weather Update

I am considering takeing my young daughter fishing at Buoy 10 tomorrow if the weather and river conditions are favorable. Does anyone have any hands on info from today? Wind and waves. How much and how big? A big guy like me would not like to get sick in front of his little girl.

The river is nice right now and should be nice tomorrow morning, but the wind is supposed to come up from the northwest tomorrow to 25 mph according to the last report I heard this morning. A 45 foot crabber went down near the bar this morning running gear off of Benson beach. 2 kids are presumed dead. If you have a vhf with NOAA weather access, I'd listen to it in the morning before you went out. There should be a nice swell at the buoy tomorrow with the rough ocean conditions, but you shouldn't have much trouble with wind chop until the wind picks up later in the morning. Be careful!

The best incoming fishing is in the afternoon and that is when that darn wind is supposed to come up. Since the tide is later on, take your time and make the decision in the AM.
