Default Columbia near Chinook Landings

Only way to describe it is red hot. Fished for two hours w/ Coot22 on the outgoing tide and hooked one steelhead and one chinook. 4 boats around us caught 6 other fish. Only saw one wild steelhead. Lots of nice keepers. Chinook took a pink F-7 of all things. Wind was really bad, but the fish didn't seem to mind too much. Plan on getting out there some more after work this week. First nooker of the summer! Mu ha ha ha ha.....it begins.

20 - 25 feet of water. Near some pilings. If you are familar w/ the area you should be able to find us really easy. Don't have to motor too far from the ramp.

Are you in the line just above Chinook Landing? We usually hit the line just above Gvt. Island.

Look for us out there. Black/Silver N. River. Should be one taller goofy looking guy and me. Camo hat and sunglasses no matter what the weather. He'll be out there Mon - Wed and I'll be around after and before work hopefully. Got an Ifish sticker, just need to put it on. Hope to see you out there. And no, we aren't fishing above the ramp. E-mail me if you need more specifics.

I'll be in a 16' SPECTRUM that say "THAT BOAT" on the back end. I will be the red headed woman running the boat. I don't have my IFISH stickers on yet either. I probably won't be out this week and I know I won't be out next week. sometime after the 20th I should be out there. I am heading down to the mouth for a week fishing at buoy 10. I have to pack the boat this week.

Fishchaser-

Ever fish out of a boat with the numbers
OR 982 GR? (closed bow sled)

If so, I've got the back of your head in one of my pictures. I'm pretty sure it's you, we were fishing next to each other at the place you're talking about in these posts a couple years ago.

That was a good day as long as you weren't a Chinook.

I was up by #48 on Sun, painfully slow, but saw a special spot just below Camas Washougal ramp that looked active for a bit. I guess you need to know that few magical square feet where those 10,000+ Steelhead are passing everyday.
