Default Three Clipped Fins ?

I fished the mouth of the Lewis today and landed a small hatchery steelhead. It had three fins clipped. (Dorsel, Adipose, Left ventral)..

I recall a thread some time ago talking about a fish with three clipped fins. Did anyone find out more about who/where these fish are raised? Seems like this is a little much unless someone is trying to identify a specific hatchery program.

I am unaware of any hatchery that actually 'clips' the dorsal fin. However, 4 of the seven hatchery fish we kept this weekend were missing the dorsal fin. This happens in the concrete holding ponds when they are juveniles, they get worn off. A fairly typical scenario. Wild fish are de'fin'itely prettier.......

A co-worker got one below the Sandy on Saturday....it had the exact same fin-clip configuration. Someone is purposely clipping this way, that is for certain!!!
