Well, from what I've read from their ads, they've been producing their own blanks for quite awhile. But I guess they've been building them for the major rod companies, just putting the companies names on their rods. Now they're putting out their own rods full time. I'll see if I can find one of my fly magazines that have their ad. They have a webpage I do believe, but definitely have contact info in the ad.

I was curious if they were good rods, at least I've found one person who's used one and liked it.

Default Rogue Rods

I read somwhere here a post mentioning Rogue Rods.

I have one that is about 15 years old and is my favorite fish-taking device.

Does anyone know where to get them and what their history is?

I'd like to have another!

The rod I have is an 8 1/2 ft. Plug rod with a really fast tip and I use it with an Ambassaduer 6500c, left-hand, loaded with 50# PowerPro (12# diameter) for fishing Coho at Sekiu.

It handled a 47# incidental-catch halibut in Canada two years ago. THAT one took a while to land!

I tried to get to Rogues web0site and the link wouldn't work. If you know where I can get more of them, please tell me. What other labels to they produce rods for?

Never had a rod I've loved more than this one. I'd cry big pools if I were to lose or break it.
