Drano Lake, Klickatat river or any of those
cold water tribs (mouths of rivers). A washington license can be had for non residents for 40$. With overcast skies last
week, the klickatat should have been killer.

Drano Lake is that wide, lake of a river mouth where the Little White Salmon River meets the Columbia River. It's on the Washington side, east of Bonneville dam (& the Wind River). Don't forget the live sand shrimp &/or crawdad tails if you're using bait.

Default Steelhead over Bonneville

I have been reading about the amount of steelhead going over Bonneville (today's paper over 13K) Where is a good place to go and bank fish or drift ? I am not familiar with the area above Bonneville.

Thanks

FishinMishin2,
When you're done fishing Draino Lake, take the first road north toward Stevenson and check out Carson Hot Springs. It's a great place built in the late 1800's. A soak, wrap and massage after a day of fishing. Ah...Heaven. Not a bad place to stay either. Have a Great Day! Tight Lines.
