Default Nehalem Bay bait shops

I might be staying over at Nehalem Bay this weekend and was wondering where I could reserve some bait. Do I have to go all the way to Garabaldi or is there something closer by?

I haven't been able to find a tide conversion for the bay does anyone have one?

Thanks in advance

I picked up a nice 20lb hen down by Karhs (not sure if this is the right spelling) on Sunday at low slack.

Hi Grits. you can contact the Tillamook Bait shop. Check there advertisement at the beginning of this site. They are located on 1975 Wilson River Loop. If you are coming from Salem on the Wilson River Hwy just watch for loop road as you get close to Tillamook. Then after buying your bait you can go on to hwy 101 and then to the Nehalem. Its not out of your way and they are nice people. Cagey.

Wheeler Marina: 368-5780
Jetty Fishery: 368-5746
Lyster Bait and Tackle: 322-3342

Although you might want to try the other suggestions because bait seems to be in short supply around here. (I haven't checked Lysters)

Fishing was pretty slow at the jaws Sat. and Sun. but a few fish are being picked up in Nehalem and Wheeler. Good Luck.
