Bighorns in the Columbia Gorge
Has anyone else seen them? I saw them when we left for Desolation on the 15th at mile marker 122 on 84. There were five HUGE rams, no ewes. Then on the way home today, We saw 8 at mile marker 121. Has anyone else seen these guys hanging out?

Re: Bighorns in the Columbia Gorge
Umm, they've been there for quite a few years.
Saw 3 very nice rams close to I-84 today, just east of the John Day River.

We look for them everytime we drive through. I have some photos and film footage of them. I already checked - no tags for that area.

Re: Bighorns in the Columbia Gorge
Saw them last may and they were pretty close to the road.
I'd say they were at eye level on the hill side approz. 7 ft away.
Rams x3!

I don't know if I would want that tag, way too many spectators! Probably end up as

Re: Bighorns in the Columbia Gorge
didnt see the goat. What mile marker does he hang around? I also looked to see if there was a tag for that unit. When we saw them the first time, they were only 50 yards off the highway... OH!! and before that, like just as we were merging onto 84 from Biggs, we almost nailed a huge coyote that ran in front of us.
