Default Need to purchase a kicker

First of all, hello. First time poster. Been up here a year from So. Cal. where I'd be offshore looking for albacore right about now. Enjoying the salmon/crab scene, though.
Need your help. I'm in the market for a Mariner 9.9 4-stroke kicker. (can't afford a Yamaha) Not interested in service, only price. Anywhere WA or OR. (I'm in Seattle area) Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Check out the madras oregon yamaho dealer. You might be able to afford the yamaha after all.

My friends own three rivers marine in woodinville wa. , it is only about 20 minutes northeast of seattle give them a call and see what they have. They always seem to be able to help you out with whatever you need. Ask for Bryan, Scott or David and tell them Superfly sent you.

What ever you do DON'T GO TO "PICKS COVE MARINE" They have the worse customer service on the West Coast. We are having an ongoing problem with them and "Hoochie" He will never see them again. Good luck and don't forget to look at Mercury too. -Tracy

Hey try Cabela's, I just bought mine and it's great. I paid 1650 for a 9.8 electric start long shaft. It is a 2 stroke but the fours are still better priced then anywhere else I've found.

If you're curious I ended up buying a Mercury 9.9 ML 4 stroke big foot for $1,799 from Olympic Boat Center. Thanks again for your input.

Before you buy anything, check out the prices in Vancouver BC. I am told you can save considerable dollars up there. Call directory assistance up there, before going and you may be surprised... Let us know what's best.

I did call a dealer in B.C. They were $42 cheaper... not enough to make it worth the added hassle. I'm happy with the price I paid, but not happy with Olympic Boat Center.
I really got some rude service in the parts department. (Fife, WA store) The 4-stroke rated H.D. kicker bracket that Boater's World has in their catalog for $199 was $329 there. I showed them the catalog and the best they'd do was $276... so it's off to Boater's World! Like I said in the first post, I was after price, not service. I know not go there for any service.
